The majority of our hunting packages are 1-2 nights at the  HKR Lodge, and 1-2 trips out in the field  for your game animal…custom hunt packages for multiple wild game animals are available upon request. Hickory Knol Ranch puts you on the Game animal that you want.
HKR typically lets our hunters choose the method of hunting that they prefer, as long as meets all regulations and seasonal requirement. Hunters can choose  Bow Hunting, Rifle Hunting, Black Powder, or Handgun.  In some cases the hunter might be asked about proficiency with hunting choice by the HKR guide.  HKR can accommodate hunters of any age and experience level, as well as hunters which may have physical disabilities.  We love to have 1st time hunters join us…we take great pride in helping to educate children and beginner hunters about the responsibilities of hunting. We also host multiple classes and camps for various hunting levels and types throughout the year.

Our goal at HKR is to make hunting and the outdoors an enjoyable experience our hunters and families with take away form HRK and want to return or go explore other choices across Texas and the US.
